Mike Weatherley, the Conservative Member of Parliament for Hove and Portslade, is delighted to announce that Hove Tandoori has been selected to go through to the regional finals of the parliamentary curry competition, the Tiffin Cup.
Hove Tandoori, located on Church Road in Hove, was nominated by Mike to compete in the competition in the House of Commons with the country’s top curry-creators for the coveted Tiffin Cup. Within the next couple of month,s a mystery diner will eat at Hove Tandoori and judge them on the following categories: Food, Ambience, Service and Décor. Mike has pushed for a Hove winner each year and the Tiffin Cup 2013 makes this Mike’s fourth entry into the competition. Last year, Touch of India on Boundary Road made it through to this stage and was highly commended by competition judges.
Commenting Mike said, “It’s is great news that Hove Tandoori has made it through to the regional final. They certainly deserve to get through to the final, so hopefully I will see them in Parliament soon. Either way, this competition highlights the excellent culinary choices that residents have in Hove and Portslade.”
