Mike Weatherley, the Conservative Member of Parliament for Hove and Portslade, has welcomed the news that planning permission has been granted for the seafront plinth project that he recently backed.
Hove Civic Society is behind the novel idea for a plinth on Hove’s unique seafront, which will showcase, in one of the most prominent spots in the city, work by both famous artists as well as upcoming local talent. The society hopes that the plinth will become a focal point for inspiration and will make residents proud. For more information, visit www.hovecivicsociety.org.
