Mike Weatherley, the Conservative Member of Parliament for Hove and Portslade, is encouraging anyone who is interested in running in the 2014 Brighton Marathon to consider raising money for Grace Eyre, a charity which supports people with learning disabilities.
Grace Eyre is a unique Brighton & Hove charity that works across the city and in West Sussex to help people with learning disabilities to gain independence, obtain housing, find employment and join in on their range of activities.
The Brighton Marathon 2014 is to be held on Sunday 6th April 2014. Standard entries have now closed, but it is still possible to register with a charity. For more details on the Marathon, visit www.brightonmarathon.co.uk. For more information on Grace Eyre, click here. Commenting, Mike said: “Taking part in something like the Brighton Marathon is a fantastic way to raise money for excellent causes and keep fit at the same time. Grace Eyre is a great local charity that supports a host of laudable initiatives right across Brighton & Hove, so if anyone is keen to take part on the 2014 Brighton Marathon, please do get in touch.”
