Winter Appeal

Mike Weatherley, the Conservative Member of Parliament for Hove and Portslade, has launched a winter appeal to help provide food for some of the most vulnerable people in our society.

Homelessness charities in Brighton & Hove rely heavily on donations of a variety of goods. In order to help the charities with their food distribution, Mike is calling on residents to help with a winter appeal. The winter appeal is looking for donations of: Tinned meat; Tinned vegetables; Tinned fish; Tinned fruit; Orange Juice (Cartons); UHT Milk; Sugar (500g); Tea bags; Instant Coffee; Cereals; Packet Mash; Tinned Rice Pudding; Sauce Jars e.g. Ragu; Pasta (500g); Rice (500g).

Please drop off any donations to Mikes constituency office 109 Church Road, Hove, BN3 2AF. Mike will then drop off the donations to various local homelessness charities, who will distribute it to those most in need.

Commenting, Mike said: As the Member of Parliament for Hove and Portslade, I have worked closely with a number of Brighton & Hoves excellent homelessness charities that support some extremely vulnerable people in our society. I hope that residents will help make this a successful winter appeal and know that any food received will be put to good use.
