Andrew Wealls, the prospective Conservative Councillor for Goldsmid ward has pledged to help residents with parking issues in the Ward.
Andrew said: 'Sometimes, particularly when there are matches at the cricket ground, it is impossible for residents to find a parking bay. I will work with Goldsmid Conservative Councillor, Ayas Fallon Khan, the Council and the cricket ground to make things better.
We have investigated options for parking changes with the Council's Parking Strategy Team but we need to hear from you. Please let us know what you think, so we can help to make the residents' parking scheme in this area work better for you.
I am circulating a leaflet at the moment with Ayas and these are the questions:
· I have difficulty parking my car when there is a cricket match at Sussex County Cricket Ground
YES NO
· I would like to increase the number of RESIDENTS ONLY parking bays in my street

· I am happy with the balance between residents' parking and public parking but would like additional resitrctions on match days only
