Since then my occupations have been varied, including: Area Training Manager for a catering company, Tour Guide, Clothing Retailer, Market Trader and School Bursar. I have also spent various periods working abroad.
I became involved in voluntary work twenty years ago when attending the local parent and toddler group with my first daughter, and finding myself nominated as Treasurer of the Management Committee. Since then I have held many offices in local voluntary community organisations and am proud to have played a large part in the development of Woodingdeans Community Internet Café, Java, and in the redevelopment of Woodingdean Youth Centre.
I believe that good living conditions and strong communities benefit the lives of everyone and am always working to improve and develop these, continually striving to make Woodingdean a place everyone enjoys as much as I do.
