Cllr Carol Theobald
Carol has lived in Brighton and Hove all her life and spent her early years in Patcham where she lived and attended the local schools.
Carol is married to Geoffrey who is also a Patcham Ward Councillor and they have two daughters, two sons and two grandsons. She was Mayoress when her husband was Mayor of Brighton in 1982-1983 and Mayor of the City in 2007-2008.
Carol was elected to Brighton Borough Council to represent Patcham in 1992 and then to the new Brighton and Hove Unitary Council in 1996.
She is also President of the Brighton and Hove Mencap Society and a member of the Red Cross Therapeutic Care Team.
Carol enjoys Latin dancing and is a Member of the Brighton School of Samba, choral singing, yoga, pilates and gardening.
