Mike has welcomed Baroness Wilcoxs support of his Rock the House 2012 competition (www.rockthehouse2012.com).

The competition was set up to raise awareness of the importance of intellectual property rights and copyright protection. After the success of the first competition earlier this year, Rock the House will be coming back even louder in 2012.

Commenting, Mike said: Rock the House has received a tremendous amount of support in the past year, from world famous rockstars to members of the House of Lords. Baroness Wilcox was really keen to get involved and believes that Rock the House is an excellent vehicle to address the serious issues of copyright and intellectual property.

Baroness Wilcox added: Rock the House is an impressive initiative that enables MPs to engage with the technical subject of intellectual property rights. The roster of famous musicians who have come on board as patrons gives industry and parliamentarians a forum in which to work together to protect our future creative economy.

Rockstars who have recently agreed to become Patrons of the project are Ian Gillan from Deep Purple, Alice Cooper, Robin Gibb, Rob Caggiano from Anthrax, Matt Tuck from Bullet For My Valentine and Charlie Simpson.
