Commenting, Mike said: The debate was a tremendous success. Getting so many experts together to discuss the issues that are important to the future of music is unique and has helped promote the message of Rock the House.
The competition is so important in getting MPs to connect with a creative demographic that they would not normally engage with. Without Rock the House, only a minority of MPs would be aware of the issues facing the industry. We hope that Rock the House will help increase political awareness of IP issues and ensure that the UK remains a world-leading creative economy.
