Off The Fence Needs More Volunteers

Mike Weatherley, the Conservative Member of Parliament for Hove and Portslade, is calling on residents to get involved with local homelessness charity Off the Fence this Christmas.

Off the Fence provides vital services to the most vulnerable and marginalised in our local community. A dedicated team of trained staff is supported by an enthusiastic and committed group of more than 80 volunteers currently. In a large volunteer drive for the Christmas period and into the New Year, Off the Fence is seeking new helpers from across Brighton & Hove to ensure that the charity can continue to provide their valuable service in the city. For more information, please see www.offthefence.org.uk or call 01273 733566.

Commenting, Mike said: Off the Fence is a vital resource for the homeless in Brighton & Hove but they desperately need more volunteers to help keep their service running. As I have said before, the work that is undertaken to assist the homeless within their Antifreeze project is nothing short of remarkable. So if you feel that you can help, please do get in touch with the Off the Fence team directly.
