School Pupils from Portslade Design Christmas Card for Mike

Mike Weatherley, the Member of Parliament for Hove and Portslade, has chosen a Christmas card that were designed by two pupils from a local school, Hillside, in Portslade.

Ryan ODonoghue of Foxglove class and Ziyad Fadlalla of Elm class had their designs picked for Mikes 2012 Christmas Card. Ryans Santa and Ziyads Christmas tree card will be sent to hundreds of people in both Hove and Portslade as well as other people that Mike has met with, including the Prime Minister. The card will be printed and distributed at no cost to the taxpayer. Mike will visit Hillside in the New Year to thank both Ryan and Ziyad in person and give them a present for all of their efforts.

Commenting, Mike said: This year my team and I couldnt just pick one card so we opted for these two great designs. I know that whoever receives one of these cards this year, including the Prime Minister, will be delighted by the fantastic effort that has clearly gone into making them. Well done Ryan and Ziyad.
