Mike Thanks Residents for Views on King Alfred

Following the success of last week’s King Alfred public meeting, Mike Weatherley, the Conservative Member of Parliament for Hove and Portslade, has thanked residents for sending him their view on the future of the King Alfred Leisure Centre and is pleased to announce that a video of the meeting is now available online.

Given the importance of the subject to local residents, Mike has received hundreds of suggestions with regard to the King Alfred. Mike is currently preparing a submission to submit to Brighton & Hove City Council with a summary of the meeting and to highlight the views of residents.

Commenting, Mike said: “It was encouraging that so many people took the trouble to get in touch and share their views on what a new leisure centre should focus upon. Thank you to everyone who contacted me. I am now pleased to announce that to all those who couldn’t make the meeting, it is now available to watch online. A link is available on my website.”
