Mike Picks Hillside Christmas Card Winner

Christmas Card 2013

Mike Weatherley, the Conservative Member of Parliament for Hove and Portslade, has chosen a Christmas card design for 2013 as part of his annual card design competition. This years winner was designed by two pupils from local school, Hillside, in Portslade.

Kyle Gosling of Oak Class and Muhammad Jan Shah of Daffodil Class had their designs picked for Mikes Christmas card this year. Kyles and Muhammads Christmas tree card will be sent to hundreds of people in both Hove and Portslade as well as other people that Mike has met with, including the Prime Minister.

The card has been printed and distributed at no cost to the taxpayer. Mike will visit Hillside in the New Year to thank both Kyle and Muhammad in person and give them a present for all of their efforts.

Commenting, Mike said: Once again the card designs from the students at Hillside were fantastic. I want to say a big thank you to all the students and staff that helped this year and a special well done to both Kyle and Muhammad. Ill certainly be putting one up in my house.
