Mike Weatherley, the Conservative Member of Parliament for Hove and Portslade, has met with Sarah Springford, Director of Brighton & Hove Chamber of Commerce and Tracey Allen, the Living Wage Campaign Manager, to discuss pressing issues affecting residents of the city.
Mike was keen to hear about the return of the Ride the Wave campaign which is delivered by the Brighton & Hove Chamber of Commerce. Ride the Wave provides practical advice and support to businesses of all types and sizes. For details on what is available through Ride the Wave, click here.
During the meeting, Mike, who has previously backed the voluntary Living Wage campaign, which highlights to employers what hourly rate is necessary for employees to live comfortably, received an update on the scheme from Tracey Allen.
