Conservative Councillors Cracking Christmas Fundraiser


Brighton and Hove City Councillors Dawn Barnett, Tony Janio and Nick Lewry have had their Greatest Success yet in raising money to Support the elderly residents in their Hangleton and Knoll Ward.

Your local Councillors have once again worked very hard and raised money for local Groups. The total raised was an outstanding £3085. Donations, which have to be for the benefit of seniors in the community will be made to:

  • Short Mat Bowls £150
  • Forget Me Nots £200
  • Tai Chi 50+. £200
  • Sussex Day. £75
  • Alexander Court. £200
  • £150
  • Crafty Adults. £100
  • Old Knollonians. £150
  • Lunch Club. £150
  • Singing group. £150
  • £150
  • Food Bank. £200

In addition to the above, 3 parties were held:

  • Tea at Churchill House
  • A meal at Hangleton Manor for 25 of the Get Together Group
  • Tea at St Richard’s for the elderly of Hangleton and Knoll.

Hangleton & Knoll Send Thanks to the Councillors

The Communities of Hangleton and Knoll have sent back big thanks to the Councillors for the events, and for their support throughout the year. Special thanks go out on behalf of the volunteers who enjoyed a delicious lunch at The Railway Inn.
