Brighton and Hove Conservatives are delighted that Kemi Badenoch has been elected as Conservative leader and leader of His Majesty's Opposition. In a historic first, Kemi is the first black woman to lead any UK political party.

Kemi says, "This is a once-in-a-generation opportunity to renew our party, our thinking and our country. It’s time to tell the truth. The system is broken. Let’s develop a blueprint that looks at every aspect of what our state does and why it does it. The work to rebuild trust starts now."
