Brighton and Hove Conservatives are delighted to announce that Sarah Webster has been selected as the Conservative candidate for the Brighton Pavilion constituency for the forthcoming General Election on the 4th of July.

Sarah is a business owner who, together with her husband, runs a recruitment agency based in Haywards Heath. She is a qualified Company Secretary and Bookkeeper. Sarah lived in Brighton and Hove for 12 years after studying at university. She has also lived overseas in the Middle East and Australia, before moving to East Sussex, where she still lives.

Sarah and her husband have three children, two of whom attended BHASVIC and one studied at Sussex University. Her daughter, who was born prematurely, has been under the excellent care of the Royal Alexandra Hospital for the last 15 years. As a result, Sarah has run in the Brighton Marathon and many more, in support of the Rockinghorse Children’s Charity for the past 13 years. She is also a volunteer for Aidan’s Christmas Dinner Project, bringing comfort to families with children in hospital in Brighton, Worthing and Haywards Heath.

Sarah is passionate about harm reduction approaches to drug addiction, helping the homeless and vulnerable get off the streets and into safe environments, as well as environmental issues, particularly waterways and farming.

Sarah said, “I am delighted to stand for Brighton, a place I called home for over 12 years. This diverse and inclusive city deserves a voice at Westminster which has a clear vision for the future for all ages and beliefs. I’m passionate about the environment, education, and a humane approach to drug issues”.
