Tony is a highly qualified Flight Simulator Maintenance Instructor and now works part time so he can concentrate on the Council.
He is an Observer Trustee of the Hangleton and Knoll Project.
Born in Hertfordshire, he was a member of the Territorial Army (Royal Signals) and a Royal Naval Officer. He first came to Brighton, and then moved to Hove, to do his PhD in Physics. He loved it so much he stayed. Tony is a sports fan, particularly rugby and cricket. He likes live music, but since being elected as a Councillor he doesn’t get the chance to attend as much as he would like.
Tony counts as his outstanding political achievement helping Mike Weatherley to become an MP. He is known for his robust defence of the ‘Small Man’.
The old saying ‘Right is Might’ runs through Tony’s veins. He does not believe in Big Government or Big Business and will always challenge their power.
